balagan ARTS
balagan comes from Hebrew and means jumble, disorder, chaos. balagan is a project space in Basel-Stadt, where new things are created all around the art of women and the confrontation with the other: Exhibitions, lectures, performances, readings and more. balagan enables a culturally sensitive and cross-generational dialogue. Men are welcome as actors, whereby the proportional relationship of the sexes is reversed. Creative chaos is needed for new things to emerge.
Formerly located at Allschwilerstrasse 101, balagan Arts now is a nomadic curatorial initiative in Basel.
