Villa Renata
The exhibition space Villa Renata has been complementing the art landscape of the city of Basel for ten years. Every year, 5-7 exhibitions take place there; on the one hand guest exhibitions, on the other hand own productions or presentations that are created in collaboration. Both young and established artists are shown in solo or group exhibitions from the region, the whole of Switzerland and from nearby countries. The Kunstraum is located in a neoclassical building from 1871, with a total of eleven exhibition rooms on three floors. A large wild garden belongs to the property. It is also an exhibition space.
