druckwerk is a unique printmaking studio in Basel, open to anyone interested.
The studio is located in Werkraum Warteck pp. Spanning 160 square metres, the workshop provides workspaces and machinery for relief printing (woodcut and linocut, lead typesetting), intaglio printing (etching techniques) and lithography (stone printing).
Since 2016, the non-profit association druckwerk has been running the workshop. The association’s aim is to introduce traditional printmaking techniques to a wide audience, to use them as contemporary artistic media, and to promote experimental approaches in the field of printmaking.
