Haus Oslo Ateliers
The Haus Oslo Ateliers cooperative project was founded in 2017 and comprises a total of 16 studios. Located in the heart of the Dreispitz area on the border between Basel and Münchenstein, the premises are in the immediate vicinity of the Academy of Art and Design (HGK), the House of Electronic Arts (HeK), various project and exhibition spaces, Radio X and Atelier Mondial. The main focus is on promoting independent, professional art production in the area. Through the weekly lunchtime event ‘Meet&Eat’ for all tenants, friends and the neighbourhood, Haus Oslo Ateliers is committed to fostering networking among partner institutions and promoting diverse connections between them. In addition to strengthening internal artistic ties, these regular gatherings, under the motto ‘From SOLO to OSLO’, facilitate interesting interactions, particularly for the guest artists of Atelier Mondial and all other visitors to the building.
