KASKO sees itself as a place for experimental, research-based and process-based art creation with a focus on performative, transdisciplinary formats. It represents a carefully curated, artistic program with a clear focus on performance.

The long-term nature of the space and the professionalism of its infrastructure have an institutional character, while the KASKO program sees itself as an open, low-threshold and flexible structure that artists and theorists can approach at any time. Every year, KASKO offers a broad local and international program, consisting of its own program items as well as guest projects, with exhibitions and art events, performances, concerts, workshops, panel discussions and educational formats for a diverse audience.

KASKO confronts its guest projects and artists on an equal footing. We want a space in which open, critical and respectful dialogue is maintained between everyone involved. With a queer-feminist influence, KASKO wants to promote cultural participation for an inclusive audience. Everybody welcome!
